I noticed that jug is your favourite colour. :-)
Red, you are highly observant.
There you go again...with the images that so beautifully suit the story. Bravo San!
Oh, and thanks for the tag. I'll have to give it some thought. Will let you know when I've completed the task.
Love it .. you are so damn creative! Is that another of your paintings? Those colors make my mouth water!
:-Daryl
Patty, there's no hurry. I do look forward, however, to learning more about Patty.
Daryl, thanks. Yes, that's a piece from a couple of years ago. It was the first purchase of the gentleman who now owns "Purple Enigma," a larger painting. I always love it when people decide to add another one!
I will never be able to think of you without seeing a splash of every color imaginable in my mind.
Envious of your size 6 1/2's.
Signed,
Bigfoot (mine are 9's!)
Oh you tiny little thing, you! You must find great shoes on sale! And flashy is better then fleshy!
Great Fun!
I don't like doing these.........
I ike reading about other folks though.
Ok Sweet San...give me a few days!
You have small feet.
I love the jug and the painting.
Hi Bigfoot. I believe your shoe size is actually about average. Mine is a little weird for my height--5'7".
Kim, shoes on sale--the notion makes me salivate.
Rubye Jean, take your time, and even if you don't want to do the meme, that's OK too. We won't report you to the blogger police.
Whim, thanks. The painting is mine and the jug is by an artist I represent.
I love that you added photos to the meme. The Via Spaga pumps were gorgeous, though?
Okay San, my tag post is complete.
Thanks for the distraction, I needed it!
Jo
Jennifer, the Via Spigas were to die for, and I thought I might with the meniscus problem.
Jo, yay! I'm headed there...
Mee tag pozt iz kumpweet now San.
Dum dee wut u fink!
Chuck
On my way, Chuck...
Wow.. thats a lovely post San...I missed so many things :( too bad now I am back..
Apropos of #3, chill out, chica: no one wuz accusing you of Size 6 jugs. I'm just glad the feets weren't going in them.
Peace/out.
Hey, San,
Very interesting! I only knew one of those facts. But, in no particular order:
1) My hand measures 4.5 inches too. Is that a common measure among us upright monkeys?
2) My shoe size is 8.5 or 9 depending on whether it's a D or B width. Rereading the other comments I've found that I'm an inch taller than you.
3) Darn, and here I'd been mistakenly calling those brightly striped pots vases!
4) I tend to go along with you on the color scheme of life with one exception. I prefer my orange freshly squeezed or covering said fruit. In my NSHO, only God is really good at mixing that one.
5) I once badly sprained my whole hand by falling down while going up a curb. Yes it was wet from a recent rain.
6) I like your definition of flashy better than some of the ones I've seen. Although that flash scene in Mannequin was pretty hot. :)
Hugs!
Ooooooh - black suede stilettos on a spiral staircase. A woman who lives dangerously! (I'm assuming you were quite sober at the time because to be otherwise on those stairs in those shoes is BEYOND dangerous - it's James Bond territory!)
:)
Debi
I'm glad you're back, Angel.
Paschal, what? Me no chill?
Paz, amigo.
Lee, you're pretty tall. 5'8". That curb incident: OUCH! Those things happen so fast and can hurt so long.
I don't believe I've seen Mannequin, but you've made me curious.
;-)
Debi, that day I was headed to a rosary, not an Irish wake, so yes, I was sober. Truth be told, I was running a bit late and couldn't locate my sensible low-heeled pumps. Hence the stilettos. Hence the rushing.
That's about as living dangerously as I get. :D
I'm 5-7,,,,
In my next life I'm gonna have size 6 1/2 shoes too, even if I still have these size 9 feet!
Love that jug,,and of course the painting.
Really fun post!
Hi, San, thank you for coming by to see me. Glad you enjoyed the cottages & I hope you'll come back again.
Rhoda
Babs, everyone's weighing in with their shoe size, and like me, wisely steering clear of their jug dimensions.
Glad you like the jug and the painting. Pretty soon I hope to be posting a little virtual tour of our gallery.
Rhoda, thanks for coming. Please visit again.
Oh that is so unique. You have such an individual style.Love it.
Cath, I always was a little "different." In more ways than my ring size.
:-D
okay, done.
I forgot to tell you that I love those 6 1/2 shoes!
but...are those jugs of yours real? sorry just had to ask. and i am glad we agree on the best color...it's why i always answer "tie dye" to that question.
What, I thought your favorite color was green?!
We share favourite colours, San! No question about it.
You had me smiling all the way through this!
i'm obsessed with spiral staircases. i don't know much about my "dream home" other than it has a spiral staircase as an alternate.
That was fun, San! And your jugs are beautiful. Sorry to intrude!
The last painting where you say you love all the colours, is a beautiful piece of art :)
Ellie, I already took a peek. Well done. Thanks for playing!
Thanks, Jo. Shoes on a Shoestring, Albuquerque. Flan and I went there. She got some fabulous 50s looking pumps to go with her "Marilyn Monroe" dress.
Lime: Yup. Real. Bought and paid for.
Hi Flan! I've decided to live with reckless abandon and embrace all colors.
Ok Sam...I posted my Meme :)
David, and what a nice smile you have!
Jameil, I hear you. When we looked at this house, we were smitten by the staircase.
Wow, Bruno, thank you!
Sandy, I'm glad you like my jugs.
Rubye Jean, I can't wait to see what you've come up with...
Hmm...let us analyze this meme and see what it says about you.
(Whips out notebook, assumes thoughtful expression...)
Random thing#1: dimensions of an anatomical feature illustrated by a photo of a finger pointing into the desert, as if trying to give some direction to reality.
Random thing#2: dimensions of an article of clothing that, by default, also indicate dimensions of an anatomical feature. An apparently irrelevant (but very colorful) object also figures heavily in the illustration, perhaps showing one's inability to limit reality to one's own point of view.
Random thing#3: the apparently-irrelevant object from the illustration of #2 making a more relevant reappearance, during which it now:
a.) shows once again the clothing item mentioned in #2,
b.) turns out to be a personal work of art,
c.) displays color preference,
d.) is used to make an oblique reference to an anatomical feature and, one could infer, the imagined dimensions thereof,
e.) shows reality shaped into a definite form.
Random thing#4: a reference to an injury suffered to an anatomical feature with an implied connection to the type of clothing mentioned in #2 as well as a color reference. This is coupled with a reference to a funeral home and an illustration of a forbidding-looking stairway, apparently meant to describe how reality sometimes overpowers us, causing us to lose control.
Random thing#5: a spontaneous self-portrait together with a multiple-entendre that could imply clothing, artistic and/or color preference as well as the possible desire to share one's anatomical features with an audience. The picture is apparently taken in a bathroom, possibly illustrating how the lowliest and most unpleasant facts of reality can wind up taking on a new significance if approached from the right direction.
Random thing#6: an all-inclusive color reference also tied to a personal work of art, which happens to be titled "Painting Over Reality".
Do we see a common theme here?
My conclusion is that I need another beer.
Thanks for another wonderful post!
Statistics can be boring, San, but not the way you present them. Creative excellence you are!
Thank you so much for keeping up with me through the last couple of weeks, it has been much appreciated, and sorry to be so late in my catch up with you. Love the answers to the meme, but very glad not to be tagged! Enough going on trying to catch up right now!! The jug that features in the pics is really beautiful, but not half as nice as the canvas at the end, another of your wonderful creations with a fantastic use of colour, I am not surprised at all that your fav colour is all of them!!
I posted mine! :) come look!
I loved the jug one! LOL!
Moody, if/when you (1) decide to change careers and/or (2) boost your beer consumption, you have a brilliant future in (1) psychotherapy, (2), literary analysis, (3) crime scene investigation, (4) Central Intelligence, or (5) HHP (Happy Hour Philosophizing.)
Saintliness can be a turn-off, Nick, but not the way you practice it.
Mima, thank you for your kind words about my painting. I'm so happy to see you're out and about and blog-hopping.
Anna, I went there and was delighted. Thanks for playing.
Thanks too for your thumbs up, jug-wise.
Hmn. I feel cheated.. I was looking forward to some gritty, personal gut-wrenching confessions here me gal' - and all I got was your shoe size! Slippery comes to mind (I may need to invent my own meme to pin you to the board,,)
Wink.
Shrinky, too bad you missed my post in which I discussed several of my former affairs with presidents of the United States. You would have LOVED it!
hey, San, with all these mates, I'm flattered that you came a-calling. I love your pictures - and am envious, tee hee, of your jugs. oh, and and same height, same shoes, but your shoes look nicer than mine.
Milla, it looks like we're practically cousins. Wanna trade some outfits?
I totally love how you bring your own images to these things. There's so many tags out there you feel you're doing the same over and over but you give them new life. Thanks for your very sweet comments!
Jeanne, your comments are very sweet indeed. Thank you!
I still behind one in my meme assignments and am contemplating fresh angles.
I don't think there are enough colors in the pallete to adequately paint your portrait.
You have a great sense of humor, and that's a real pretty Jug.
San, I love these random facts about yourself, thanks for sharing these secrets with us, they are delightful:) ...So you are walking around in stiletto heals:) Pure elegance! Have a wonderfull day and take these steps with care.
love the jug.
Andrea
San,
There's always a little more to everyone's story. I'm 5'8", shoe size 8 1/2.
How much fun! Interesting factoids about you. I feel like I know you a little better!
Jeff, you're a pretty colorful character yourself.
Lynn, that's a lovely quilt.
Andrea, as much as I adore stilettos, the medial meniscus incident has made me a bit skittish.
Dar--8 1/2 shoe--which foot?
Doc, a "little" better is right.
:-D
San, my tag is completed.
Being a Libra...I had to think about, decide, re-think, and then pick out only 6 things. But...it's done.
Patty, I can't wait to see...
You are so funny! I love your attitude. (I saw you listed on Austin Maloney’s blog) And don’t you dare tag me-girl!!! I’m just snooping around today. I’ve already done one of sorts. (Mine was called 5 things I hate!)
Anyway. Best wishes. Come visit.
Vikki
I just pooped in to take another look at your jugs ;-)!
Did you paint those yourself San? Very pretty.
I have got to say, you know how to have fun with a meme, maybe I can learn from you!
I didn't know anyone had size 6 1/2 shoe size anymore....
Vikki, thanks so much for visiting. Not to worry--I won't tag you. YET.
Rubye, yes my jugs are really pretty. :-D
They were painted by my friend Elizabeth. I used to paint pots too, but for the past three years or so I've concentrated on canvas.
Tammie Lee, it just goes to show you--I'm getting up there. Even my shoe size is dated. Just kidding. I know you're complimenting me, and I appreciate it!
Yes, your feet are small but your jugs are just huge!
Interesting random facts. I can tell you're a brave soul, attempting those stairs in stilleto's.
I love this...so funny you are! How odd...my favorite color is "all of them" too lol...great post, love how you handled this one...I'm taking notes...
hugs
Sandi
Woman in a Window, you are hilarious!
Suki, I used to be braver. Now I look before I leap.
Sandi, we'll copy off each other's papers. HUG.
I bet Bennie loves your jugs and feet! LOL
Have a great weekend, my friend.
Jo, have a beautiful Wyoming weekend. It must be so pretty in the springtime.
San, you have tiny feet. ;)
I love your meme post..over the top and edgy too! I suspect you are able to breathe your creativity into all the corners of your life! Thank you for your recent comment...well needed support.
Mary Ann
You did a great job. Very creative use of the pictures!
Willow, good to see you!
Mary Ann, I love to be called "over the top and edgy too". Thanks!
Sandpiper, thanks. It was a fun change of pace.
The favorite color answer is brilliant! I never thought to answer that way, but it makes more sense than the "flavor of the day." I always tell my kids "it depends."
What a wonderfully creative way of doing a tag?
Now why couldn't I have thought of that?
Too much time to take all those photos!
Beautiful!
You come out sharing the most interesting things. Thank you.:)
Craver, that's the perfect answer to any question posed by a kid. "It depends." Come to think of it, that's the perfect answer to any question posed by anybody.
Maggie May, I'm glad you liked it.
Celine, everyone was clamoring to know the distance from my wrist to my index finger. I hope they're happy.
Hi San! I figured I'd let you know that you're now on the "Friends of Indigo" list on my blog. Yay! :)

Good Monday to you San! I hope your weekend was prosperous and fulfilling!
Jo
I like that your favorite color is ALL OF THEM because mine is too, except some days I have favorites(do you?). And then I like ALL OF THEM AGAIN too.
Indi, thanks. I will reciprocate.
B.T., I am honored by your invitation. I love berfdays!
Yes, Dilly, you and Chuck would have A LOT of fun!
Jo, happy Tuesday to you. Thanks for thinking of us. Yes, we made a little sales magic over the weekend. It was fun!
Yes, Meg, I too fluctuate in my color preference, but like you, I ultimately like them all. Each has something to offer my spirit, it seems.
