My good buddy John-Michael has honored me with this lovely Blogging with a Purpose award. My sidebar now displays it and I am happy to pass it on to the following purposeful bloggers:
Sandy Carlson of Writing in Faith. A spirit-infused place, like the center of a labyrinth. Approached quietly, meandering, and with a listening heart.
Jennifer Harvey of Thursday Drive. Deliciously wry stories of family life, informed by humor, personal history, and wonder.
Doris of Poetic License. Honest, soulful, midlife confrontations. Life, pain, joy. The sweet spot where they intersect.
Rhea of Texas Word Tangle. "A swirl of words tangled with human emotions." Rhea's own Texas-sized tagline. I couldn't have said it better.
Chris of The World According to Indigo! Giving a voice to disassociated selves. Saying good-bye to a painful past, lightening the load, and flying.
Thank you, John-Michael, for acknowledging my blog. And thank you, my purposeful blogging community, for enlarging my adventures in cyberspace.

San,
All good choices and congratulations to you!
Thank you, Jo. The connections we make through blogging are SO sweet.
Congrats .. well deserved!

Daryl, you're the one that got me started with this award rigmarole. Thanks. It's fun.
Indigo incarnates
Thanks, San! Doug is actually my domestic partner, however. My body's name is Chris. My incarnational name is Indigo.
thanks for the award!
:)
Chris, big DUH on my part. Sorry. I've revised my post accordingly. I think of you as Indi.
San, congratulations on this award! You absolutely deserve it.
And thank you so much for passing it along to me! I am in very good company, and will display it proudly. :-)
Jennifer, I look forward to seeing it displayed on your beautiful blog!
Thanks for this, San! I am honored. And thank you for highlighting other blogs. I will follow your recommendations and have a look!
Sadly, I have maxed out my Blogger photo space, so I don't add awards to the sidebar anymore. I've added you to my blogroll (I think I have been a slob and have been visiting you via David's rather than doing 2 seconds of work.). Thanks for making my day!
Sandy, thank you for adding me to your blogroll. I enjoy your visits so much, and of course, you already know I enjoy your blog enormously.
Thanks, San! I'm playing hooky in the middle of my work day to give you a big {{{cyber hug!}}} and to take a moment to thank the Academy, my parents, and my fellow bloggers ;-)
Seriously, we do intersect with the most amazing people online, don't we? I see that I'm in great company, and also that I have a few new blogs to visit, thanks to you.
John-Michael couldn't have awarded it to a more deserving recipient. I'm happy that you honored me in kind.
Peace - D
Doris, you have a way with acceptance speeches. And your outfit is simply stunning!
Thank you for your kind words. They mean much to me. HUGE CYBER HUG back atcha.
Congratulations, my friend! This is another well deserved award for an incredible blog...a woman of words and visions!
Congratulations San.:)
Your blog is an inspiration for me and you deserve this Award. I hope you get many more accolades in days to come.
Kim, you are too kind. Blush.
Celine, you've made my day. Big THANK YOU.
So very well deserved San. You do blog with a purpose and every word you write, every picture you post, has a meaning and a message.
Well done.
Wow, Cath. Talk about well put. You know how to make me glow.
Hi San,
You and I have similar tastes - I'm familiar with all of those bloggers except Chris. Will check him out.
Thank you for your generous comments on my two latest posts.
I thought of you when someone left a comment on my Odd Shots Monday post, titled `Just Passing Through'. The comment was that the overall effect was like a painting - something that I hadn't realised until I read that.
If you have time during the week, do take a look ....
Hope Bennie had a great day on Sunday.
David
I will certainly check out your Odd Shot, David. Thanks for the heads-up.
Thanks for the correction. I like the name "Indigo", so calling me "Indi" is just fine by me :)
I like the sound of "Indi" because it's short for "Indigo," which is so beautiful, but it also reminds me of "independence," freedom. You sound good, man.
Congrats, San, on receiving this award and thank you so much for passing it along to me!! You are so sweet!!
San,
Wow, I want to sign up for your writing class.
Rhea, you are sweet, as is your pink hat. I look forward to seeing the award on your blog.
Meg, maybe we'll collaborate. I'll bring the words. You bring the food. They do go together.
Congratulations, and rightly deserved.
Thanks, Mima.
Congratulations. That's so cool!
Hey that award is beautifully done. "Blogging with a purpose." I intend to create something similar, but for the home. Here's my idea... tell me what you think. It will have a couple dowels protruding from the front. Those will be used to hold a bamboo cane. The cursive font will read: "flogging with a purpose." I can hang it over my kids' doorway to make them nervous. ;-)
Craver, you are too much! Just don't let any social workers near your house. Flogging with a Purpose--wish I'd thought of that!
