Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo were artists who were in an impassioned, tempestuous relationship for many years. Frida did very beautiful, haunting and personal paintings. She was in tremendous pain for most of her life, having been in a serious bus accident when she was younger. You can google their names, or, still better, if you can lay your hands on the movie "Frida," you're in for a treat.
